Thanks! I'd like it with some patterned 70s-esque pants I think, but none have been forthcoming so far.

Big collars are pretty good! I have a few shirts with long pointed collars that I like :)

OH...not to alarm you...the Itaki is FANTASTIC.
Posting about it tomorrow but, spoiler alert, I am 100% bringing it with me on tour.

First of all it's VERY well constructed. They are made in Canada, with Japanese design influence, and it shows. It is also the absolute CUTEST appliance that I have ever seen...it's sitting on the counter piping away and I feel the same sensation inside as when watching a kitten playing, lol. Kind of weird to feel that way toward an appliance.

Secondly everything that it comes with is useful and efficient. Two-sized containers, and a lid that fits over both or just one if you wanted to prep the food in the bowls the night before or use them for food storage. There's a little egg tote for when you want to make hard boiled eggs, it folds down neatly inside. The measuring cup even has an egg piercer on the bottom. Everything fits inside the body and it comes with an adorable Japanese carrying tote.

Finally...this bitch can COOK.
So far I have made a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting, and just now I made my usual egg white souffle and it came out like a CUSTARD, extremely smooth and creamy. Egg whites! The best thing is I don't need to monitor it, I can just set it and walk away, so this morning I did some stretches and cleaned up while waiting for my egg.

This afternoon I'm making beef stew and cornbread in it. Then tomorrow you'll see pictures of all of those. The following day I'm doing oatmeal, boiled eggs, and possibly an attempt at homemade mantou because I am just absolutely OBSESSED with the possibilities right now. Obviously I can't make most of this stuff on the road because of all the ingredients needed...but I can steam rice, and all kinds of meat and vegetables, and even make pasta in it, and eggs many different ways! I could do that with the electric skillet too but I had to stand there and actually DO it for 20-30 minutes. This takes maybe 10 minutes longer but it's hands-off, which is a game changer.

Anyway you can tell I adore it and it's only been 24 hours since delivery lol
I'm sorry if I cause an impulse buy but rest assured, it is an extremely useful little thing and for me at least it is WELL worth having!
