It is a shame because the meals are really enjoyable, and it's nice to not have to buy, say, an entire container of sour cream when you only need a tablespoon for a recipe. But I guess those days are over haha.

The problem is the meat containers are like sealed thin plastic, usually little rectangles like how you see ground beef at the grocery sometimes. For some reason they just throw those in the very bottom of the box, then put a heavy ice pack on top, then all of the other ingredients in bags on top of that. So the lightest items with no protective packaging are on the bottom being crushed by all the heavy stuff on top, plus when the box is moved around because it's top-heavy the ice packs tend to get jostled to an angle and press into the meat packages, which is how they keep getting punctured. A very easy fix would be for them to put all of those meat packages into a small box in the bottom. Not sure why they don't just do that, because we've heard we are not alone in having this issue.
