See, despite regularly being around people who play music, we're effectively all amateurs... I don't think I know anyone in person who did music at school, studied it at university and now works in music. Did you just know from an early age that this was what you wanted to do, and have made it work however it needs to?

(Complicated family: I feel you on that one. There was a point where I had six parents, though it's only five now.)
