Thank you. So far he is doing well, taking oxy but only about twice a day (he can have it up to six times a day if needed.) Mostly it's gonna be frustrating for him to be left-handed for two weeks and then have a weakened right arm/hand for a while after. But hopefully this resolves the numbness and tingling he was having.

Thanks. Luckily the smell is only inside the car while air is coming in through the vents (i.e. while it's moving), so certainly they can get in there to remove the mouse and fix the climate control and that would solve it.
