Thanks! I hate to say it but...it probably has a lot to do with my dad being out of the picture. He was a source of negativity in regards to my tromboning, and as I got older and distanced myself from him that voice lessened but was always there. This time it wasn't really there at all...I had nerves and little internal cringes when I made mistakes, but didn't have a voice in my head screaming at me about what a failure I am, etc. It was nice, actually.

Yeah, bodies are made to be used. We don't love stuffed animals any less when they get worn, in fact the wear and tear shows how much things are used and loved :)
