I was in the audience on Sunday afternoon. I was in town for the pirate festival, and to visit my nieces, and was stunned to open the curtains of the hotel and see the circus was in town and camped right below me. We got last-minute tickets, on a whim, and were seated up by the lightbulbs. I brought my children and my niece to what was their first (and last?) circus. My husband and I held hands and cried, for all the people and the tradition and the community and the nostalgia, and we cheered and cheered and cheered for you all.
I wish you all possible good things as you figure out where to turn next.
