Yeah, I need to accept more of my failures. Yesterday's failed rye was edible, and I might have thrown it out if Jameson hadn't said something. But if I KNOW I can do better, it bothers me for quite a while unless I can have the chance to try again. Baking a loaf of bread twice is a time and money expense I'm usually willing to take, but no more than that. If I can't get it on the second try then clearly something's wrong with either the recipe or myself.
