I didn’t manage to line up another tour, but did manage to be hired as a sub trombonist for Disney’s Candlelight, which is a monthlong holiday event. I may not actually get called to play but will still be a “castmember” so will have free access to the parks, pay for rehearsals, and consideration for future work.
For Actual Work, a friend on LiveJournal helped me get a job transcribing from home. Despite being contracted work, it’s full time and also has benefits and will save me lots in commute time and FL tolls, so I’m actually excited about it! Hoping to enjoy the work and stick with it.
