Yes, that happened at BGW when I worked there as well.
The problem with this system is that you have to be molested or attacked BEFORE someone will help you. The person can harass you all they want, and then IF you leave your post and follow them out OR exit the haunted house to find a handler, security MIGHT be called to wait at the exit on your behalf. That's of course assuming you're able to leave your scare zone in the first place, and find someone with a radio, before your tormentor leaves the area.
I tried this only once, with a guy who very blatantly grabbed my breast and a buttcheek at the same time, looked into my eyes, and smelled my hair before quickly rejoining the queue. In an absolute rage, I followed two people behind him while other guests around me snarked and complained that I was out of context for the other scare zones or being "creepy" by joining the queue. I stopped to report to the first person I saw with a radio, which allowed the man who had grabbed me to get further ahead of me in the queue. I exited the haunted house with guests, and he was gone.
And then I had to go back and finish my shift knowing there is nothing at all to stop someone from doing it again.
It's ok. Lots of jobs are like this. And maybe we'll get lucky and Epic will step up enforcement and/or properly train their handlers.
But at Disney, I NEVER have to worry about it. And this kind of thing makes a huge difference for the amount of respect and allegiance that I will give to one company over another. Worth more than money.
