Yes! It's quite amazing and kind of new haha. I mean, we are always supportive of each other. But he has been in a depressive funk since losing a Disney audition right before covid (5-ish years) and during that time his reactions to what I was doing on any given day were muted by his psychological upset.
And similarly although I very much expressed pride in him for lots of things over the past 5 years, like being bandleader for Jollywood or earning his masters degree, because he's been stuck in depression he couldn't take compliments or see any reason for me to be proud of him, as he was unable to be proud of himself.
But getting his new job has finally pushed the depression away for a bit, and I get to see the Jameson that I remember from the circus, who looks at me in a certain way :) I am glad to have that one back, for however long he sticks around.
